Hi there! We've been busy building you amazing features that are going to help you create better, healthier datasets. Let's dig in!

Split objects in the Video Editor

Now you can split an object on the timeline in the Video Editor. This'll help you correct annotations.

To split an object:

  1. Right-click on an object on the timeline and place the green line where you want to split the object.
  2. Click Split object.

The object will be split into two where the green line is when you clicked Split object. The parts to the right will become a new object.

Token annotations

You can now annotate items in the Text Editor with tokens. The Annotators will be able to label entities by selecting only a part of the word and the entire word will be automatically labeled.

There are two types of tokenization: Basic Tokenization and Smart Tokenization. Basic Tokenization is the default setting when you create a new project. You can choose to disable this feature altogether.

  • With Basic Tokenization, if you highlight Fran in San Francisco, only the word Francisco will be annotated.
  • With Smart Tokenization, if you highlight Fran in San Francisco, the word San Francisco will be annotated. The model used in Smart Tokenization recognizes geolocations, city names, book titles, etc.

Insights in more project types (Beta)

We’re bringing you Insights to Video or Audio Projects and Text Projects. You can now visualize the data trends and distribution of your dataset health and annotation team performance, which will help you improve your dataset's quality and enhance the efficiency of your annotation team.

Now you can compare items and instances in the chart.

You can compare items by:

  • Admin name
  • QA name
  • Instance count (Video or Audio Projects and Text Projects only)
  • Keyframe count (Video Projects only)

You can compare instances by:
