This release brings you the Databricks integration, Required attribute groups, updates to the Comment queries in Explore, and more!

Databricks integration

We’ve added the ability to upload items to your Multimodal projects from your Databricks workspace. You can now set up a Databricks integration, and use SQL queries to import values to the corresponding components that you specify for a more seamless uploading process.

Required attributes

You can now create classes with mandatory attribute groups by marking them as Required. This means that when annotating, these attribute groups must be given a value before the item can proceed to Quality Check or be set to Completed. This is useful to ensure that no important attributes will be missed during the annotation stage.

Multimodal form preview

When previewing your Multimodal project alongside the code editor, you can use a couple of filters to view your form from different perspectives. The preview can be changed based on user role and project status. This is to allow you to test your interface’s progression, and gain insight into what each user role can see and interact with across the various annotation stages.

Other updates & improvements

Explore query updates

You can query Multimodal items with the comment and commentCount parameters now, to view the comments and feedback across your project with ease.

Improved subsets in Zoom View

In the Explore tab, while viewing an item in Zoom View, you can add it to one or multiple subsets at a time. Additionally, if you don’t have any subsets or would like to add the item to a new one, you can create one from this view mode with ease.
