Magic Select

Magic Select is the latest addition to our selection of magic tools. It’s an advanced annotation tool that automates the annotation process, allowing you to create more accurate annotations faster.

To use Magic Select:

  1. In the left toolbar, right-click on the click arrow and choose Magic Select or press G on your keyboard.
  2. The image will be divided into segments. When you hover over the image, the segments will be highlighted.
  3. Click on a segment to create an instance. The instance will be counted as a Polygon.
  4. Right-click on the segment to be able to edit it.

Add/Remove tags in bulk

You can now add and remove tags in bulk in the Explore tab.

To add tags in bulk:

  1. When in Grid View, select multiple items by clicking their checkbox or clicking Select all.
  2. Click Add/Remove tags.
  3. Click on Add tag.
  4. Select a tag from the dropdown.
  5. Select or type attributes, if applicable.
  6. Click Add.

To remove tags in bulk:

  1. When in Grid View, select multiple items by clicking their checkbox or clicking Select all.
  2. Click Add/Remove tags.
  3. Click on Remove tag.
  4. Select a tag from the dropdown.
  5. Click Remove.

Other features and improvements

  • You can now select a default class with keyboard shortcuts. Press the number that corresponds to the class you want to set as default on your keyboard.
  • You can now see your items in the Explore tab of your Text Projects in a grid view instead of the list view. The grid view gives you a glimpse of your texts, allowing you to perform certain actions without needing to enter the editor.
  • There are now keyboard shortcuts to apply and remove tags to your items. In the editor, find the number that corresponds to the tag and press it on your keyboard.
