Project details redesign
Projects is rocking a fresh look. We changed the order of the tabs and replaced the search button with a search bar.
We also took the “less is more” approach. The following buttons are displayed only when you select one or multiple images: Delete, Assign Images, Run Smart Segmentation, and Run Smart Prediction. We also removed the sort drop-down feature, and added sort buttons in the following columns: Name, Status, and Entropy.
Page browsing is now easier. At the bottom of the Images tab, enter a page number in the input field and jump to that page instantly.
Shortcuts to approve and disapprove instances
Use the newly added shortcuts to approve or disapprove an instance or multiple instances. Start by selecting an instance or multiple instances then press Shift + ↑
to approve and Shift + ↓
to disapprove.
Pixelated zoom
When you zoom in on an image in the pixel or the vector editor, it becomes pixelated, allowing you to annotate with higher precision. This works both on original and compressed images.
Saved zoom level
A zoom level is maintained the same while switching between images in the vector editor. This is especially helpful when tracking an object in a video; you won’t have to zoom in every time you switch images.
Note that if you zoom in on an image and switch to another one where the zoom coordinates are missing, the zoom level will be reset to the default level.
Other changes and improvements
- The performance of the Smart segmentation and Smart prediction features was improved; they now work faster than before.
- You can now move grouped instances on the canvas in the vector editor.
- You cannot use these characters / \ : * ? “ < > | in project and folder names anymore. These characters will be replaced with an underscore (_) in existing project names.
