This release brings you brand new bulk actions in Explore, project and role information in the Members table, Monitoring filters, and more!
Team member project information
The Members table now shows the projects Contributors have access to and their role in each project in the new Projects & Roles column. You can also filter members by Project name and Project role.
Monitoring filters
You can now filter actions by values in a custom action's input Event or Context, or in a Send Webhook action's Request or Response headers and payload Combine up to 10 conditions with AND and OR to narrow down the actions you want to review.
Bulk editing Web component values
You can now change and remove Web component key values in bulk from Explore in Multimodal projects without opening each item in the editor. For array values, you can append new values or replace existing ones.
Web components now support predefined key values and read-only settings for Explore. You can also retrieve their key schemas using sa.getKeySchema() and SA.getKeySchema().
Live item access updates
The editor now updates immediately when you lose access to the open item, preventing further work on it. This includes deletion, unassignment, and changes to roles, item statuses, or group access.
Find Similar and Annotate Similar deprecation
Find Similar, Annotate Similar, and Natural Language Search are no longer available in Vector and Text projects. Embeddings are no longer generated for newly created items, and existing embeddings have been removed.
Generated members in all editors
Generated member support now extends to the Image, Video or Audio, and Text editors. You can switch to a generated member to test project configurations or annotate using that member’s role and permissions. Actions and tracked time are recorded under the generated member, with activity linked to your account.
Additional features & improvements
- Team contributors can now use the Python SDK with their corresponding personal API Keys within the scope of their allowed permissions.
- The Python SDK now supports
SAClient.explorefor querying items, counting query matches, listing subsets, and adding items to subsets. - You can now generate, rotate, list, and revoke Team API keys through the Python SDK. Generation and rotation require an Organization API key; listing and revocation also support Team and Personal API keys.
- The
SAClientfunctionsquery(),query().count(),get_subsets(), andadd_items_to_subset()are deprecated, with removal planned for 4.7.0. Use theirSAClient.exploreequivalents and rewrite existing query strings using the Explore query language. - SuperAnnotate MCP Server now supports authentication with Team and Personal API Keys when connecting from outside the SuperAnnotate platform.
- The Time spent by users report now includes a Worked Status filter and CSV column, so you can review working time by item status. The Working Time API also supports the column and filtering through
worked_statuses.
