This release brings you a new Template menu, the inclusion of README files for Multimodal projects, and more.

User project activity

Users with the Team Admin role or higher can now temporarily pause a user’s activity within a project.

Multimodal UI builder updates

We’ve updated the layout of the Template selection during the Multimodal project creation process. Now, when you’re selecting a template, you may preview it before moving ahead, and even check out its README file, if it has one.

In relation to that, you may now also create a README file for your own Multimodal project forms while in the builder. This way, you can include any necessary information about your project in the form so that it is available when needed.

SDK function updates & additions

We’ve added the ability to do the following with SDK functions:

• Upload Annotations for Multimodal Projects, including using JSONL.
• Specify the format for processing and transforming annotations before retrieving them.
• Retrieve item categories.
• Filter projects along with required metadata.
• Filter users along with the required metadata.
• Manage and retrieve a project’s metadata and custom field info.
• Manage and retrieve a user’s metadata and custom fields.
• Pause or resume a user’s activity.
