The first release of the year is here! We're bringing you the File Upload component for Multimodal projects, custom role management, Contributor events in pipelines, and more!
New Gemini models
You may now select the gemini-3-pro and gemini-3-flash models for your Gemini agents.
Multimodal projects
New File Upload component
We’ve added the brand new File Upload component to allow you to attach files to each item in your Multimodal project. These files will also be included when downloading items in a project, in the form of a signed URL.
New Explore operator (Multimodal only)
We’ve added the NOT CONTAINS operator so that you may curate your items by excluding certain values.
Container component functions
We’ve added two new functions to the Container component to allow you to enable or disable components as needed, along with all its nested components.
Edit and delete custom roles
We’ve implemented a way for you to manage your custom roles. You can now edit the details of your custom roles, or delete any that are unused by workflows.
Orchestrate
Contributor events in pipelines
We’ve now added a new category of events for Contributors. The events under this category are: Contributor added to project, Contributor removed from project, and Contributor project role updated.
Automated custom action deployment
You can automatically update or create custom actions in SuperAnnotate directly from your GitLab repository.
Custom action event payload update
The pipeline_name is now included in all custom action input event payloads.
Added Error Messages for Custom Action Timeouts
Added error messages for Custom Actions that fail due to timeout conditions, making failures clearer and more actionable.
Additional features & updates
- You may now use the pipe
|character when naming items. - When searching for teams or organizations, Teams will now be selected by default.
- The SuperAnnotate SDK now supports only Python 3.10 and later.
- The
get_folder_metadata()SDK function now returns a list of metadata of contributors assigned to the folder.
What do you think of the updates? We'd love to hear your feedback.
