Role-based access

Component-Level Permissions

By default, any component you add to the UI Builder is visible and editable to all roles with access to the project. To narrow or tailor visibility:

1. Open the Properties Panel for the component.
2. Under Permissions, specify roles or item statuses for which the component should be:
   • Hidden: Not displayed at all.
   • Read-Only: Visible but not editable.
   • Editable: Normal, fully interactive state.

Copying Permissions

If you want to apply the same permissions to multiple components:

1. Click Copy (or press Alt + Ctrl + C) in the Properties Panel of the source component.
2. Select another component and click Paste (or press Alt + Ctrl + V) to replicate those visibility rules.
